Product Overview

The SN74ALS251N is a high-performance 8-input multiplexer with 3-state outputs from Texas Instruments. It features Schottky-clamped TTL technology for improved speed and power efficiency. The device selects one of eight data sources as determined by the select inputs (A, B, C). A strobe input (G) must be low for the multiplexer to be enabled. When the strobe is high, all outputs are in the high-impedance state, regardless of the select inputs. The SN74ALS251N is ideal for bus-oriented systems and data routing applications.
