The TPIC6C595PWR is a monolithic, high-voltage, high-current power logic 8-bit shift register designed for use in systems that require relatively high load power. This device contains an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an 8-bit D-type storage register. Data transfers through the shift register on the rising edge of the shift register clock (SRCK). Data is transferred from the shift register to the storage register on the rising edge of the register clock (RCK). The storage register outputs drive the output enable (G) and output disable (G) functions. The output structure is an open-drain DMOS transistor with a 100-mA continuous sink capability. The TPIC6C595PWR is characterized for operation over the operating case temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
