Product Overview

The FM25V01A-GTR is a 128-kilobit nonvolatile memory employing an advanced ferroelectric process. A ferroelectric random access memory or FRAM is nonvolatile and performs reads and writes similar to a RAM. It provides reliable data retention for 151 years while eliminating the complexities, overhead, and system-level reliability problems caused by EEPROM and other nonvolatile memories.

Unlike SRAM, the FM25V01A-GTR retains data after power-down. Unlike EEPROM, it does not require a separate write cycle and has unlimited write endurance. Data is written at bus speed with no write delays. The FM25V01A-GTR operates over a voltage range of 2.0V to 3.6V and is available in an 8-pin SOIC package.
