The SN74ALS251NS is a high-performance 8-input multiplexer with 3-state outputs from Texas Instruments. It selects one of eight binary data sources based on the address inputs (A, B, C) and provides the selected data at the output. The device features a strobe (active-low enable) input that forces the output into a high-impedance state when high, allowing multiple outputs to be connected to a common bus. Designed for advanced low-power Schottky (ALS) technology, it offers high speed and low power consumption, making it ideal for bus-oriented systems.
