The SN74AS253AN is a dual 4-line to 1-line data selector/multiplexer from Texas Instruments, featuring 3-state outputs. It is designed for high-speed digital systems, offering Schottky-clamped TTL performance. The device selects one of four data sources for each of two independent multiplexers, controlled by common select inputs (A and B). The 3-state outputs allow connection to bus-organized systems, enabling multiple outputs to share a common line without conflict.
