The SN74LS257BNSR is a high-performance quad 2-line to 1-line data selector/multiplexer from Texas Instruments, featuring Schottky-clamped TTL technology for improved speed and power efficiency. Housed in a 16-pin SOP package, this device selects one of two 4-bit data sources under control of a common select input (S). The outputs are three-state, allowing connection to bus-organized systems. It is ideal for multiplexing data from multiple sources in digital systems.
